Is the earth strap connected properly ? Shorted something I'd say. Is it trying to start or nothing at all ?

And I said, Officer, I didn't want to be drunk in public...I wanna be drunk in the bar. Now last time I checked it was still legal to be drunk in the bar. They threw me into public...arrest them!

Re: any ideas??
yea mark the plenum is filling with fuel, wil on tm recons the pressure reg is set to high?
its turning over properly!DAVEY_C wrote:is you solinoid wire correctly... would you have blown it??
Re: any ideas??
if your pelnum is filling with fuel you have it piped wrong.
one from the top of the reg goes to plenum one below on the reg goes to the carb fuel in and one at bottom of reg is return and one on side on its own is fuel from tank.
You need to see 4psi at the outlet side to carb, any more and needs adjusting down.
Pull top of carb off and look at jet (not directly if wrong will get shot in eye with unleaded) whilst cranking, if you are getting a jet of fuel something is wrong either you are pumping fuel into the float chamber vent not fill point or the float is fu* err broken and full of fuel as they are notorious for going porous.

Re: any ideas??
just figured it with a call to mark (thanks dude), i have it done right but i disconnected the boost adjuster last night so its on ful boost, so petrol not going thru carb instead being pumped into plenum, damn awkward minis
