New here with a 1971 Mini Clubman

Post by Clubman91 »

Well everyone how's things.
My names Aidan , I'm 19 and I'm from Laois.
Got told about this site off someone on Transmission.ie after they saw our Mini.

History:
1971 Mini Clubman.
Completely original car
Only non original parts are brake pads, etc.
Has been garaged all its life.
Was bought brand new by my nanny in England , then she couldn't live on her own anymore so she came to live with us here until she passed away. The mini came with her and got one of our sheds. Has never been parked outside a shed. My nanny minded it like a baby, always kept it spotless and never brought it out in the rain :o
Was only really used for short trips.
I personally love this car and would never change a thing on it but thats just me.
Anyway I'll let the pictures do the talking , they're not great as they were taken on my old phone but you'll get the idea.
Let me know what ya think ??
Cheers, Aidan

Probably should have taken pics after I washed and valeted it

Hi Aiden,

Lovely Clubby there.....very original. Have a crick in my neck from viewing the photos though !! :D
And I said, Officer, I didn't want to be drunk in public...I wanna be drunk in the bar. Now last time I checked it was still legal to be drunk in the bar. They threw me into public...arrest them!

Hi Aidan and welcome. 8)

Very nice unmolested Clubman you have there.

You should be able to rotate your photos with the edit function in your photobucket account.

Thats a lovely original looking Clubby you have there, Clubman91 :)

It's great to see that it has been well cared for & kept in the family.

Welcome along to the forum & sure if you fancy joining the club, the details are on the home page:
http://www.irishminis.ie/downloads/memb ... ipform.pdf

I'd be good to see you & the car out at an IMOC event or 2 during the year- we are a friendly bunch so don't be shy about popping over to say hello to us if you see us out & about :)
