North Wexford/Wicklow December 5TH Run.

THE DATE FOR THIS RUN HAS BEEN SET FOR SUNDAY THE 5TH MEETING 12NOON. AT HILLS OPEL GARAGE ARKLOW. JUST OFF EXIT 20 N11.

Myself and Miniblade are planning a run. After a chat with Aiden he said we should post it up asap to give everyone time to put it in thier diary.

It will be a meet at Hills Opel garage on the north side of Arklow. (Exit 20-- N11) At 12noon.

The day will be Sunday the 5th.

The run will be approx 2 hours long ending back on the N11 near Camolin. (just south of Gorey) There will be a Chip stop during the run. The run will include so nice B roads with nice views but more important nice twists and turns.

Sorry lads this run not going to go ahead. Having to use a jeep to get around in north wexford so don't think a mini run gonna be a good idea. We will plan it a later time.

Got bit distracted to be honest Dylan. Herself due on Saturday so i'd say i'll be busy away from minis for the next couple of weeks.... But then i will sort this run again... end of feb i'd guess.

My orginisational skills are not great.

It's not rocket science. For anyone considering running an event, the following steps may help:

1. Decide a date;
2. Decide a route and starting point;
3. Put up details in the Events section of this forum;
4. Notify Darran, the club's PRO who will send out an e-mail and text to all club members;
5. Check that there is somewhere to eat along the route;
6. Turn up yourself.

The club needs people to get involved in the running of the club. None of us get paid for our time so it's not fair to leave others do it all for you. There is plenty of support within the club if people need suggestions on how to organise an event as nobody wants to see an event fail. All you have to do is ask.

I was just checking on a already orginised event, Maybe when Ive more time I will try orginise one but for now I am not interested.
