hey every1, just joined as i just got this mini (by chance) and said it would be handy for info, witch has helped already as it looks like a member had the car in 09 as i seen pictures of it on the 09 run of mtm. heres a few pictures and spec.

91 mini mayfair 998cc, purple with a white roof, stage 1 kit, crome bumpers, grill, and wing mirrors, clear back light, centre exhuast, 4 spots, 12 inch white and crome minilights, sunroof, inside standard seats with sport steering wheel.

@ daniel, well lad i took it as a trade in against my rally car off a man cavan. do u no much about it???

@ cab, ill see how long ive the car for, murder for selling cars, but i think ive cought the mini bug. :D :D

welcome to the forum..
the car use to belong to donal if im not mistaken, he's a member on the forum here to but dont think he visits too often..
i went to a few runs with him and that includes the MTM 09, held up nicely so it did, nice car 8)

1 of the few things i can tell u about it is that he had no trouble keepin up with a 1.4 nova altough the fell driving the nova is epically useless!!

I put it up 2 see if i get any interest, but d more i use it the more i like it. i was price parts and a repaint this wk, so i dont mind if its dosnt sell . . .

Saw that Mini on Donedeal during the week. Seems like a good honest motor and its known to club members which is always a good thing. The ad showed a few spots of rust which is nothing unusual.

Well wear and honestly, if I was you I would definitely keep it. I don't reckon you will regret doing the work on it.
And I said, Officer, I didn't want to be drunk in public...I wanna be drunk in the bar. Now last time I checked it was still legal to be drunk in the bar. They threw me into public...arrest them!

thanks man ya, if i do ill repaint to whole car inside and out, price the panels to repair it £100 in uk for the its cheap the get parts for them . . .

Nice little car, best of luck with it!

If you need anything for the car i'm sure someone on here will have whatever you're looking for.

One word of advice, if your gonna fully respray the car, be certain you get rid of all the rust before doing so.
I learned the hard way and i thought it was all gone :(

oh i no about rust had few old yokes before, it will be stripped right back if im goin the hole hog, if i do think in mite take the sunroof out and put a new roof skin on it. not a lover of pop up sunroofs, but we,ll see.
