Yes it will as the 1300 GT is atually the same as the 1275 GT, they have a better box in them also, with a CR gear set (lay shaft has a different ratio), I used one back home for racing until I could afford a SCCR box, you will need to change the driveshafts the gear linkage and the engine mounts.

Shame to reck a 1300GT they are becoming really collectable now. If you are going to use it for mini purposes as i did way back in the day 1987-1990 when you could get hold of them for £50 as MOT failures.

Engine, 11 stud block not cooper S spec though has no tappet plates on the rear
head same as mk3 S spec some actually have S stamped on the head near the thermostat housing most though have M A K V for morris austin kestral vanden plas though.
highest power non S engine before the ERA Turbo came along.
Box again some got S boxes but you will need to put the gearchange in as well as not the same as remote mini housings.
twin 1 1/4 carbs and 3-1 crows foot branch exhaust late ones have alternator most have dynamo

gauges and stuff worth keeping or selling seats look great too wide for a mini though

brakes and hubs no good for a mini different pcd and such.

putting it in a 81, I would be tempted to go with modifying the tunnel to clear the remote change and getting a pair of early driveshafts as the easiest route. Done the same swap into a 76 years ago.
