Hi after sorting gremlins with my iginition system i now find myself without any indicators. Its not the flasher unit as the hazard lights still work. anyone have any suggesitons where i can start ??

As far as i can tell all other electrics are working and all the fuses look OK

Indicators and hazards use separate flasher units so a faulty indicator falsher unit could be the problem...

Best bet is to go to a motor factors and buy a new one...only cost a few euro I think...and replace the old one and see if it solves the problem.

At least on my car, the indicator flasher unit is behind the dash held by a spring clip to the frame. The hazard flasher unit was in the engine bay on the passenger side. I've done a bit of rewiring so both units are now in the passenger compartment as are the fuses (changed to blade from the original glass ones). Just too much corrosion potential in the engine bay.

The indicators are feed through the hazard light switch, if the switch is not fully off the indicators will not work .If the switch is worn flick it on and off several times and try again.
