IMOC Killaloe Camping Weekend

Post by Billy »

Well done to those who travelled to Killaloe last weekend and brought all their Minis. The current discussions within the club seem to be working in getting the older Minis out and it was great to see not one but three Estates along with both the Mk1 and Mk2 Mini being represented. As I could only make it up for the day yesterday, it was clear that there had been a serious lack of sleep over the previous nights but the craic and slagging was great all day long. The Killaloe camping weekend has always been a great family chill-out event and my two slept all the way home afterwards.

Would the owners of the following items left behind in Kilaloe please claim them.

1 Marine Bleu Jumper
1 pair yellow sunglasses
1 pair black sunglasses
1 aluminium Flask cup
1 enamel mug

Thankjs for a great weekend. Its a pity it rained after you all turned up, but the sun didn't stop shining since you left. Now all we have to do is fine another camp site.

Dave Ronan , ex-Member from Galway was down talking to us, so Lads over in the WR, get onto him and get him back into the Club scene.

I admit it, I am the owner of the 1 aluminium Flask cup.

But in insist that it was lead astray by that scurrilous enamel mug, my aluminium Flask cup would never have gone off it it wasn't for him. I trust his owners will take him to hand.

Black7even, I think the yellow sunglasses may belong to Maeve the Rave. Do they look like they'd fit a 4-year-old?

Called up to see Kevin Ring last night. Showed me his lovely '00 Seven in red. Very nice car with full Webasto, Mk1-style seats, and pepperpot wheels. He's mad to use it on any classic mini event the IMOC organises. Kev also showed me his '06 MINI Cooper S. It's a fine motor but he has no problem cranking up the classic for MTM.

8) I thought the Yellow Sun glasses were Meave's and the Black one's maybe Hugh's.

RE: Ringer's 00, does he know where the Webasco sun roof came from, I am interested in one (edlectric) for my Se7en.

Forgot to thank the chefs Paul et Paul for the great fries in the morning, along with their assistants Therese and Milton.
