Street Vintage Festival Sunday July 11th

Post by The Marcos Graveyard »

Short notice but the Street Vintage Festival is on this weekend, Sunday the 11th in Street, Co. Westmeath. Just off the N4 on the Mullingar side of Rathowen.

It's not, as far as I know, an official IMOC event, but we usually get a few Mini's out to it.

I know that at this time of year that there are probably shows of some sort or another every weekend but this one is usually good with plenty to see and do.

I think this year it is clashing with the Sligo Rally which may affect some of the WR members but is there anyone else thinking of heading ?

Just a few of the Mini's that turned up today. No set Club area's so we were parked all over.

The weather stayed fair for the whole afternoon with only a few spits of rain at the end of the day as we were leaving.
As ever the hospitality of the Street organisers was second to none, with each classic gaining free entry, a nice lunch and a commemorative plaque.

A good day had by all. 8)

It was a beaut Stan, had a more up-to-date wooden dash with centre clocks and Wood and Picket arches which really complimented the car.

This was at one of the autojumble stands Stan, I thought of you when I spotted it, it could be the start of a restoration project for ya. :D
