ECU Engine diagnosis needed...

Help needed...
I have a 1.3 '96 single point Injection.
It has a slight hesitation while crusing & also dosent over-take too well, seems like a loss of power or something like that. (emitions are fine)
To keep it simple, my prob is this, I want to get it checked by those that have "THE RIGHT SOFTWARE" ie: Plug it in & lets see what errors come up sort of thing but as we all know very few places have the right equipment to Diagnose Minis....
In short...I am looking for somewhere that has the equipment to run a FULL ENGINE DIAGNOSTIC on a Mini....
Yes it COULD BE the injector & it COULD BE the fuel pump...then again it coul be this that or the other...I need to know what it ISSSS...You see my point. I need to find somewhere that can do a PROPER MINI ECU DIAGNOSTIC..& I'm talking ELECTRONIC DIAGNOSTIC not carb' which I admit would be a whole lot simpler....

Anybody know anywhere ???

i had a similar problem mate. best thing is to check around the (ex) rover dealerships and ask them who still has diagnostic equipment.

Hi Ricoh,

not sure where your based but a friend of mine just had his car chipped by a company called logic automotive in Naas.. they specialise in engine performance and are able to enhance performnace by 30 - 40%
they also re-map ECU's and they are able to do rover makes.

give them a call and let me know how you get on
