You back in the pool?
Having a job and working in the evenings just means you need to get up earlier to make up for lost time, not like you do much in the evening anyway :p

Re: Oops i did it again...
been very slow progress...
so much for finishing it end of february
didnt have money for parts to finish it, but did get a nice parcel in the post today which allows for progression again
need to get up to longford and get my radius arms of TMG one of da days .. (soz didnt get em earlier)
and then can put together the subframes and put them back under the car..
the inside is mostly painted just a few touch ups to do here and there....
the way moneys going lately might have to do the paint job myself, and once i get a bit of cash flowing il get it done professionally..

Re: Oops i did it again...
wow 2 months since update...
well things havent been going my way lately so things have been very slow....
here's a list of stuff done since last update:
rear radius arms rebushed (owe mr TMG for that 1)
front and rear new roller bearings (cheaper version than timken bearings, MOSS Europe)
new balljoints
front and rear hilo's
adjustable tie rods
subframes cleaned and painted ( shutzed )
underbody shutzed (5 litres )
inside of the car is painted
new brake pipes all round made up
braided hose on front
new modded fuel tank made up incl. new fuel line, 20 litres (old one was 2 rusty)
mk2 Fiesta brake calipers fitted on 7.9'' discs (MRA minis) which fit nicely under the 10'' wellers
both subframes are attached to the car, 1275 metro engine dropped in (robbed from the sisters car) body is rubbed down just needs a lilttle filler and is ready for paint... have to sort out electrics, mounting bracket for fuel tank and then just little niggles...
i'l get some pics up later

I think her mini is getting the 1100cc engine?
I think you should be aiming to get this finished for some of the shows, Mosney 13/06 or Terenure 04/07

Re: Oops i did it again...
yea no bother joe il get some pics up later...
should be alot better at stoppin, big difference between the size of the brake pads..
all you need is the fiesta calipers, metro drive flange, mini hub and thats about it...
i drilled a hole in the back of the caliper and retapped it so that i could use the original mini brakelines
heres a how to guide : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fbBWdSDT7E

very nice work there Steven, you seem very handy with the metal glue gun.
Re: Oops i did it again...
He's been a little busy lately:
Not sure what else he needs doing before she's fit for the road but he's getting there! I've told him to hurry and finish it for Mosney

Re: Oops i did it again...
i know it wont be to everyones taste but.......
I like it plus i dont have the money to get it done professionally in a different colour, so home DIY it is for now...
have to sand down the doors and then the rest is ready for spraying.....
also trying to figure out wat kind of a clear coat to put on, i keep being told i need a mattin agent for the clear but none of the local motor factors seem to know wat im talking about, dont want it to come out shiny/glossy......
the wellers are already white stan

Re: Oops i did it again...
Not sure about matting agent for a clear coat but I got a few bits painted in matt black and the spray painter had to add matting agent to the two pack gloss black to achieve a matt finish.I will ask him tomorrow about clear coat with a matt finish.Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. The mobile menu board is all the rage in the IMOC these days.
Real Clubmans have a square nose.Seriously.
