Hows it goin everybody!!

The Mini Impossible 2010 consists of;

Me - Whiskerdolmio
John - Johnc
Phil - TinySprite
Jimmy
Alan
Dar

On the trip there will be 3 minis and 6 drivers/passengers.

Our aim is to drive to Prague via Amsterdam then on down to IMM 2010 and then onto the klaussen pass for some serious mini driving :) :) After that it will be on upto Bruges then homeward bound!

What we would love you to do is show your support by joining the Facebook page or leaving a comment on the website. We are trying to generate massive interest in a bid to top the guys that drove to Rome in a starlet. Frankly I think anything completed in a mini is much more deserving of support :P

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!!

And good spot Tommy C

Got to meet some of the lads and their cars today and welcome them to the IMOC :)
They will be heading off from Dublin Port at 08:20 on Wednesday morning so if anyone is about, give them a big wave.

Thier return trip will see them arrive into Rosslare Port on Weds 26th at 06:15 and then they'll travel on up to Dublin.
Again, if anyone is around to welcome them back, feel free to do so.

Well unfortunately due to a few problems my mini didnt make the journey (everyone say AWW) I couldnt risk its maiden voyage being a trip across Europe!! So I hopped in the back of the Cians 99 Cooper and off we went. 2 mini's 6 people. The back is actually quite comfortable.

Left Dublin on Wednesday morning, met the other IMOC guys on the boat, as soon as we landed in Holyhead we pointed the cars towards London and off we set. When we hit London we parked up the cars and went for a little walk to stretch the legs and fill the belly's. Then we got lost!! We couldnt remember where the carpark was so we ended up hopping in a taxi and giving him the carpark ticket and fortunately he found it for us. This set us back about half an hour or so by the time we got to Harwich we were the last two cars on the boat in fact they were just locking up!! And if they hadnt of been minis it would have been a tight tight squeeze. Dying for a few drinks and some grub we went straight to the bar after checking in to our cabins only to see the restaurant being closed after about half an hour after setting off! So we resigned to the fact we would have to drink ourselves full. To discover the bar was closing too. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it so happened we only got about 5hours sleeps and if the bar stayed open we would have got about 2 hours. When we docked in the hook of Holland it took us about and hour to get to Amsterdam due to heavy traffic.

As we arrived in Amsterdam we got stuck behind a delivery truck just in front of our hostel for about an hour and were amazed no body was beeping everybody just accepted it! Such a laid back city! I wonder why?? 8) So after we checked into our hostel we parked the minis and rented bikes (the cycling kind) and headed off around Amsterdam!! Long story short didnt go to bed till 3am / 4am and got up at around 10am to start the drive to Prague. Drive was very long but everyone got a little nap along the way and we had the Autobahns. So we arrived in Prague at 3am Saturday morning and I flew home at 11am so I will get the pics up of the first "leg" of the trip as soon as I can and watch this Space for the guys update when they come back :P

Turns out it wasnt a CV joint as first thought just a wheel bearing that Cian had with him so its in a Belgian garage now getting fixed! Might add another day on to the journey though thats the only problem, but thank god Cian had one with him!
