New here.
Howya. Just joined, from kildare, 19 and looking into buying a mini so came on here for a bit of advice about them since i know jack all! What are they like to drive? How reliable? Are they tuneable? I'd be looking to get around a '93 1.3injected engine...any help appreciated...

Buy a carbed car , less to go wrong and simpler to fix if they do go wrong .
ALL YOU NEED IS POWER AND LOADS OF IT!!!

Welcome to the I.M.O.C forum.
Like Tony said above, carbed is a lot easier to fix but then if go with something with an ecu it can be reliable in some ways.
Minis are definitely, how you say 'tuneable'.
If you have a look on one of the many Mini websites like Minisport.com you will see just how many different modifications can be bought.

Getting old is a must but growing up is optional!

Re: New here.
Hi Conor - welcome to the forum!
Hmmm, are Minis reliable? Laughs wryly!!!
Every single Mini owner has had times with Minis when one bit after another has broken down, fallen off, stopped working and then "fixed" itself, etc., etc., - but at the end of the day they are the most fun, enjoyable little cars to drive and that is it for me!!
