Re: Any wiring gods??
did you check the two inline fuses under the scuttle panel behind carb
Re: Any wiring gods??
also stevie, if that doesnt work, unscrew all indicator surrounds and check for water ingress.
i had terrible trouble with indicators on my old cooper, and it was all down to corroded contacts
within the light itself. backs of the bulbs were covered in rusty gunk. a quick sandpaper job and
i was right as rain.

Re: Any wiring gods??
did you re connect the 2 wires that you snapped off the spade for the flasher unit ,give the plugs under the steering column a wiggle they are notorious for loose connections....

sound,I'll look at that in the mornclubmankev wrote:The hazard switch is a possible culprit.
Re: Any wiring gods??
did you get the correct flasher unit ,the hazard problem only happens on cars that dont have functioning hazard lights, i.e if you leave the hazard light switch in the on position it overides the indicators at the stalk, but this particular car has functioning hazard lights, try putting the old unit back in, also the plugs under the steering column open and clean the contacts aswellstevie g wrote:sound,I'll look at that in the mornclubmankev wrote:The hazard switch is a possible culprit.
