**MINI COLOURS**
Ive got a mini as a new project. Its my very first car and hopefully not my last mini. Im so excited to start rooting at her but ive been thinking what colour should i spray her. Ive been thinking a metallic dark blue but looking through a this red looks well on them too. what i want to know is which do you think is best and which is best kept?
Thanks for any suggestions youll give.

Re: **MINI COLOURS**
Mmmmm? tricky one this to change the colour of your car will cost a heap of money unless you can do it yourself .
What colour is it now ? to change it and do it properly well mean a complete stripdown to paint the enginebay, interior and
floors . Red is a good colour (mine is red) but a red car with say a green engine bay interior just wont work . I have just
painted a grey car red and it cost a fortune to do properly . Its not the paint its the time that cost the big money .
I wish you well with the project , post up a few pics if you can .

Re: **MINI COLOURS**
sorry im so late in replying. its a purple at the minute but it was a bad job, it was a class light blue before that. me da would be able to paint it so it shpuld take down the cost a bit. i was hoping to do a full stripdown. im stripping her down at the min so i will put pics up before i start sanding her. thanks for your opinion.CLUBMANGT wrote:Mmmmm? tricky one this to change the colour of your car will cost a heap of money unless you can do it yourself .

If you're thinking red, this guy on MiniResource went with Mazda Velocity Red on a rebuild. I think the colour looks fantastic.

Re: **MINI COLOURS**
hey. love the colour. definitely thinking of using this colour. by any chance do you know the paint code for it? and how much paint was needed? did you do a total stripdown or just the outer shell? it would help a lot thankssmur89 wrote:Hey keith,
