i agree with macker, the cb made the trip for me, plenty of banter over them, especially about the odds on which petrol station will mick pass in the clubbie... :lol:

Itll be me and the gf heading down. I dont have the spare cash floating around for a CB unfortunately, they sound like great craic! might find a second hand somewhere though

just wired mine into the back of the radio, live and earth, put the aerial cable under the carpet and out the back window nice and simple

MTM was 1000 miles last year round trip for me and many others, so a lot of driving hours but great fun every second

I have to say well done to Tony and all the lads on the MTM committee as it looks like it will be huge this year with over 70 entries so far and I know of another few to come to and from hearing bits of info here and there the route will be great too so well done lads.

The 3 of us had a good chat yesterday and it's all progressing nicely for the event :)
As of today (Thurs 25th), we have 76 official entries.


I'm off the radar from this evening until Tuesday afternoon so there may be a few more to add to the list during the week.

In traditional joe whyte fashion, my MTM entry has gone in last as usual, however this i wont be taken the car my brother colin and his Fiancé sonia will. I m disapointed i cant go but at least the car will be there
