Durrow Show - April 18th
We've attended this show for a number of years and everyone will remember the fiasco of trying to exit last year. It's a convenient location about halfway between Dublin and Cork.
Are we interested in attending as a club this year? If we are, we need to pre-book as no entries will be accepted on the day. I've discussed this with Tom Heavey and it sounds like a recipe for disaster but there you go. Tom isn't an organiser of Durrow but would be in contact with the Durrow organiser regularly.
If there is interest, I will pre-book. If not, I'll let it slide but individuals are welcome to attend in their own right.

Re: Durrow Show - April 18th
this was certainly a good show to attend, but as you say billy, it was a fiasco trying to get out of there. i would be interested in going again. is their any assurance from the organisers that their will be no reaccurrance of last year.

Re: Durrow Show - April 18th
If people show up on the day they may not be allowed to show but will end up in the car park so its still the same number of cars trying to get out at the end, have they said they have sorted out there exit plan?
I missed this last year but previous years they didn't do club stands, so are we allowed one?

We were promised one last year and all went in together but the stewards didn't know where we were supposed to be so it was a bit erratic.

Hi it’s been a good show in the past but it took us two hours last year just to get out of the field. They really need to look at a new location.

Re: Durrow Show - April 18th
Went along to the Durrow 2010 Show. No problem with entry or exit, about ten minutes and I was out on the road. Usual large entry of Cars, Trucks, Tractors and Stationary Engines. Auto Jumblers and stall holders in abundance. The Minis were fairly well represented about twelve cars. No food tent, but the two food caterers did a brisk trade.
