I was just about to say your missing a wiper arm! Was it stolen or did it fall of? There seems to be a good few going missing! Nice Mini, the grill looks wierd with a 97 reg under it , I like it tho! I wish mine looked that well!
nice looking mini ,liking the grille and arches ,a set of mk2 rear lights and a lucas reversing light would really compliment the period extras and if you really wanted to go all out on it 10 inch wheels and cooper brake conversion...
Thanks for the comments, the wiper arm decided after 12 years it had, had enough and fell off on the motorway. The exhaust is a minisport own brand jobbie and to be honest it doesnt fit nor sound great. Some great ideas there miniireland, I would like some MB split wheels

I heard that, dont get it though as the seals were from minispares and are the only ones they sell but they are very stiff especially when compared to the ones belonging to liams mini. Where do you get the screen seals?

Yep used glue and a big stick to keep it pressed on, hasnt fallen off yet
does anyone know how to remove the ashtray surround from the top dash rail as its rattling and doing my head in. Im assuming there is a way it clips in as pushing it doesnt work
Time for an update, I just started a new job today and im being trained in Galway for a week and this morning the mini started making metal grinding noises when driving along and very loud scraping when overtaking so I drove slowly to Ray at Galway mini centre this evening and he diagnosed it as a worn diff pin, which is about to break
So its going to be fixed but at a great cost, although it might be an ideal time to change the diff, Ray recommended a 3.6 but but I think my ears would explode on the motorway with that
But it needed lots of new bits:
X-pin Diff
Box Bearings
Layshaft bearings
New synchro on 2nd gear
Pot joint as Ray said the Minisport ones never fit
Second hand exhaust as the Minisport one broke in half, spot the trend here
New oil pump and water pump
And most importantly shorter gearing, should make it quicker
But the bill is yet to be calculated

Well I got it back this evening and its driving perfect now The closer gearing has made a huge difference to acceleration and the engine is much less stressed on hills.
But as I have grown to expect from this car, it has developed a new rattle
