Have not put a spanner to it yet, picked up a stomach bug on the last day of holidays and weak as water since.Hope to start working on it next weekend, nothing like a last minute panic to get it running.

Irish RSP

After a few late nights here is my RSP ready for IMM action.I just have to collect the drivers seat from the trimmers as the Cooper badge was ripped and the base needed the cover reattached.Great to be driver it after a 2 year spell. The luxury of disc brakes and multispeed wipers. :D I have put it back to original and I just need to fit the decals and its good to go but that may have to wait until after the IMM.

The plan is to have it on the RSP display at mini50.It is one of only a half dozen or so RSP's sold new in Ireland when they were launched back in 1990.

Finally got around to ordering and fitting the correct RSP decals this weekend.I got them from Roger Hunt, the guy who runs the RSP register.I must also change the steering wheel for one that I bought from Paul Kelly at the autojumble and change the heater control cable. But here it is with the decals on.

Lovely looking motor, I doubt there is a nicer genuine RSP in the country.

I decided to put it back to original and keep it that way as there are not too many around and to modify it would have an adverse effect on the value. The only modification would be a proper JC Garages S pack but seeing as it is not a real S I doubt I will ever do it and real conversion kits rarely come up and are very expensive.Although I would love a set of JC Garages leather bucket seats for it.
