If i were to swap my 13s for 10s... what would i need to do other than swap out the wheels?

anyone reckon this is a good/bad idea?

They reakon that 10's are the best sized wheel to run your Mini in terms of handeling and the likes. If you were to swop the 13's for 10's the front wheels would need a brake convertion kit as the 10's won't fit over them but to be honest I don't know whats involved in partaking that convertion nor how much it will cost.
Getting old is a must but growing up is optional!

Thanks stan, didnt realise id need to change the brakes - i prob wont bother knowing that...

I was thinking more like, changing something with the speedometer, because the diameter of the wheels are going to be different, so the distance travelled per turn of the wheel is going to be different etc

Theres that to! You could always put 0's on the back if you wanted since theres only drums! :lol: I think it would look kinda strange! :lol:

To change from 13's to 10's you need to replace the brake callipers, the brake discs and the drive flanges.

attempt the mark fiesta brake conversion.. few mods involved which are easy and ya need metro drive flanges thats it from what i remember... i started them but never finished :roll:

Plus Shane to make your car look good on tens you'd have to change the arches as the sportspacks would swamp a 10 inch whel. Although of course that is only an opinion some would like the swampped wheel look.

anyway, im not going to do it anymore. Too much effoort and too much money. I need to start saving if i want to go back to college!
