so here it goes;) First a quick intro. The red one is a 00 cooper the black one is an autotest
saloon and the 3rd is a 95 sidewalk which was formally craigs but now mine as of last sat:)
well this was my first mini and it has got me hooked! its my 1430 autotest saloon.
ive done a serious amount of work to it and its spec is:
1430cc med engine with hif44 carb, straight cut box and quaife lsd.
full cooper s brakes
rear minifins, kad alloy hubs and swingarms and hilos all round
fully lightened with fibreglass front, bootlid and roof, carbon fibre doors and every
little bit of lightening inside done including cutting out the boot and boot floor.
shes down to 480kg
this is my every day road car. my 1275 mpi cooper
pretty much standard apart from janspeed exhaust, koni shocks and hilos oh and a
pretty good alpine sound system;)
this is my newest addition my 1995 sidewalk.
over the summer its gona get a complete rebuild and respray. i have an med 1380 to
stick in and i also plan some cooper s brakes, rear cage, quaife lsd, swifttune cam,
maniflow lcb and 1.5 roller rockers. not to mention some cut down bucket seats and
harnesses to make it into a true retro rally car.
well thats my lot;) i plan to take lots of pics of my rebuild and stick them up!i plan to do
mtm next year in the sidewalk as i cant this year (thank u leaving cert)
