Castle Durrow Classic Show - Sunday April 9th

Post by Billy »

Will the club be attending the Castle Durrow annual show on April 9th? It was very good last year with several Minis in attendance (including a Spanish Authi)

See the link below for more details:

http://www.castledurrow.com/default.asp?p=activities

Durrow is in Co. Laois, about 2 hours from Cork and 1.5 hours from Dublin.

Is that a run you are organising? By the way , in case you missed it , there are a few places on the Committee still.

Well seeing as I've retaxed the Cooper today (not taxed since August '04), I'll be definitely be travelling up there. Will you bring the gazebo?

Done properly, he'll let the whole family sit in it.

Make up your mind. One minute you're offering me vacant committee positions, the next you're trying to charge me twice for membership. Check the club members list and you might be pleasantly surprised at whose name you'll find.

Toodleloo,

Billy

PS Are you going to Durrow or not?

When did John Cooper join the Club? I am pleasently surprised. Perhaps he will add his name to the list in the Members' Section (Hint, hint)!.

Reminder for Durrow this Sunday. Spoke with the organisers. NO big exhausts & NO modern cars. Anyone bringing a classic should just drive in through the main gates of the castle and the stewards will direct them. Should be there about 12.30 myself.

It's a good show and well worth a visit if the weather is OK. There's indoor refreshments. Last year it was mostly snack boxes and sandwiches.

Hope to have the Mini back on the road for this, but even if it isn't I'll still be there. A 1995 Audi A6 is a classic, isn't it ?
