Anyone removed GB from their Mini's rear?

Just looking to know if anyone has any experience removing the GB letters from the rear of their Mini?
How are these attached? and do they leave behind a mark?

talk to al the mod, he'll tell ya why not to do. I'm sure his first tip will be, don't think rain will make it come off cleanly... It doesn't. Ha

From previous experience removing badges off cars (not minis!) they are stuck down with glue. Some dental flow behind it and you should be able to "saw" the glue out. You can put a hairdryer to it to heat it up if you want, but you can damage the paint.

I removed them of mini, there were on with the double sided foam, pop'd mine off carefully then removed the excess with a bit of petrol and there was no mark left

Depending on the finish of the car, becareful with petrol. Did it to an old micra before. Left a weird stain on the paint.

So far it's not looking like it'll be much hassle to remove, the colour's british racing green.

give it the hairdryer treatment and it should just pop straight off!

it will leave a small bit of residue, but nothing a good cloth and some elbow grease cant handle!

mine have threaded studs on the back ,check inside your bootlid to see if theres nuts on the back before you go trying to prise them off ,there might be 4 holes left if you do remove them ,or you could do what i did and just reverse them BG....

If they are factory fitted like mine were, they are just stuck on with a black sticky foam that can be gently pulled off, any residue can be washed off. Are ya worried about vandalism?, thats why mine are gone

had GB on my clubman and got them off with the aid of a heat gun
but on low heat go gentle and slow as to much heat can bubble
the paint so slowly does it
as done right is better than a trip to paint shop

I had them on my brg mini aswell my aul fella took them off no marks left I'll ask him how when I see him
