Sad News

Post by irishminis »

I’ve been asked by Andy and Jason O’Sullivan to inform the IMOC members that their mother died last night (3-Jan-2010) due to an illness. They also asked that if any one wants to contact them, they can do so through me. I can be contacted on my mobile 086-1543643 from later on this evening. Just in case you’re trying to contact me, I’m currently working nights and hope to be finished tomorrow morning.

It looks like the Funeral will take place on Thursday but that is to be confirmed.

I will post more details as I receive them.

I would like to extend our prayers to both Andy, Jason and their family at this difficult time.

Thanks
Simon O’Carroll

Just some more details. The mass and funeral will take place this Thursday at 12 noon. The Cemetery is just behind the Church. Afterwards they will be finishing up in the "Cross Pub" just 2 minute drive from the Church and Cemetery. I will have a map with directions uploaded later this evening for any one wishing to attend. Also I've only changed my phone about 2 weeks ago, so am missing number to contact people who I think would like to go (old phone deleted them). So feel free to contact me.

Thanks
Simon

Sorry I had to run out the door and didn't have the time to enter the full details.
The Church is in a place called "Laragh" in Cavan. For any one using GPS the Location is "53593663N" and "7125627W". The Church is about a 7 minute drive from the main Dublin/Cavan road (N3). Andy has said the road conditions are bad in the area, so take care. I'll be heading up Thursday morning leaving Clonsilla around 10am if any wants to meet up.

Here is a map that might help you out.

Thats cool Stan, Andy wants me to go up a small bit earlier. So I'll be leaving around the half nine mark or just after. I'll ring you later this evening.

It's over the next few weeks the family really need friends there as they try to start getting on with things. Up to now they been busy with funeral and stuff.
My heart goes out to them.
