hi im going to change my cam fairly soon is there any one near sligo can do it or have i to go to galway mini center. its just the mini is my every day car and cant be without it for to long!!!

Will take a good while to change cam. Engine will have to be removed.

Mervin Johnston is in Tullyhammon, just over the bridge from Pettigo in Co. Donegal.

Changing the cam is an engine out job.

When changing the cam it makes sense to replace the tappets and the timing chain (vernier will get you more accurate cam timing).
