fuel additive?

just got a service kit for my newly purhased mini, i went to order a fuel filter but the fella in the motor factors reckoned i didnt need one, seeing as its not spluttering, but he did give me a fule additive, a bottle i should just put into the petrol and it will clean out the carbon etc.... from the fuel lines

is this good stuff, or would it be harmful for little fella? (not my wand :wink: )

Hi,
Have used some additives the odd time. Never found it to do any harm and they do work. You may get some strong fumes for a short while.
