STP or similar products. Good or Bad?

Hi all,

what do you think about engine cleaners/additives? Would it do any good to my 1.3 Carb Mini?
Lately she is stalling a bit, i would call engine esitation...

Would I do any harm?

hi, i always use them when servicing, you'll do no harm by using additives like stp or redex etc. What you have to remember is, that in a mini both the engine and gearbox share the same oil, so use a good quality oil and oil additive. This however would have nothing to do with, or cure the problem of the engine stalling, so you'll have to investigate further ie. petrol, spark etc.
