Hey Guys Need your help
Had a problem with my clutch and got it bled. Was fine for a while but noticed that the clutch pedal was stalling on relase, now its completely gone! Could that be something to do with the seals or the master/slave cylinder?
Also having trouble with the battery. I was told when iI bought the car that it was a new battery. I only have the car a year but when its cold out the car wont start because the battery is dead. I usually take it out and charge it and then its fine again. Could that have something to do withe the battery connections and/or alternator?
Any help would be grately appreciated.
Will

Can't help with the clutch. If you have a Lucas 16ACR alternator (34 A output) and you're like me, driving to work in the dark and home in the dark on short runs with the lights, heater, rear window defogger and maybe a radio and wipers running, the alternator can't keep up with the load as well as recharging the battery. I had my alternator rebuilt in December and replaced the battery with a new one. Ran fine for a while but noticed it a slight bit slower to start a week or so ago. Took out the battery last weekend and put it on charge. Took a good few hours - left it overnight - and it's fine now. You can replace the alternator with a bigger (output) one or just recharge the battery every few weeks during the winter. It will probably be fine in the spring when you don't need to run all the electrics every time you drive it.

Check the level of the fluid in the reservoir, if it has gone down then there is a leak in the system somewhere, if it's still full then one or more of your seals are duff.
