any need for a brake servo?

is there any need or point in fiting a brake servo? i hav a 1979 fited with cooper s discs on front and mini fins on back.

The servo means that you have to exert less pressure on the brake pedal to slow the car down. That said, some people say that you loose the "feel" of the brakes with the servo, so it all depends on how you drive or brake for that matter.
Personally I would go for a well bled and maintained brake system without a servo.
