Welcome to the Irish Mini Owners Club forum. Celebrating 30 years of the Irish Mini Owners Club, 60 years of the Mini, 50 years of the Clubman and 20 years of our flagship event MTM
I have sold my GTM coupe to a guy from down south,he is arranging collection sometime this week.
So for the first time in many years Im without a mini in my life.
I think the time has come to move on to something a little less insane.....................so I have bought a Kawasaki ZZ R-600
I will not be using the usual mini forums so I guess this will be a goodbye from me.
I intend to take the bike to Ireland for a tour round with my better half so hopefully I can arrange it when the next MTM is on and come say hello.
I have made some friends through the Irish mini scene and would like to say thanks for all the advice offered on this and the other forums I visit.
See ye around.
Dermot.
Guys
As I said in my original post, I would love to come across for the next MTM if only to say hello.
And as for the Donegal to Dublin sprint I have to say it was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever encountered in my mini.
Keep the shiny side up.
Sorry to hear your miniless Dermot, but keep an eye out for MTM next year as I know you would get a seat no problem and it would be great to have you along. You could go with Mick Glennon and share the petrol costs.
I don't anyone could! If you make it over I can keep shotgun free. It sad to see someone exit the gate of Minis but I think the bug will bite you soon enough! It always does. If you make it give me a shout.
And GTM coupe, if sprintmini doesn't take you up on that offer I will
