Steven told me about a vtec mini that used to be in Maynooth. I didn't realize it was a clubman. I'd say it was a rocket alright.
Will keep an eye out for this around Dublin, if your ever around phibsboro/drumcondra let me know

It's gone to the big scrapyard in the sky Bren , it met with a ditch in Wickla about 18 months ago.
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.

Wee update from Paul...
Engine blocked Emerged from my chemical bath today looking nice an clean and new I then set about machining conversion's for the BMW head
It went from this:
To this:
To this:
I than set about converting the cylinder head which went from
This:
To This:
both the block and cylinder head are now gone off to Martin Tracy in Enfield, to have the surface of the block skimmed and the block re-board to 73.5mm.
The cylinder head will get a light skim as well.
regards,
Paul
