Steven told me about a vtec mini that used to be in Maynooth. I didn't realize it was a clubman. I'd say it was a rocket alright.

Will keep an eye out for this around Dublin, if your ever around phibsboro/drumcondra let me know :D

It's gone to the big scrapyard in the sky Bren , it met with a ditch in Wickla about 18 months ago. :(

got some photos from the crash repair man earlier of how benny looked during his surgery...

when he said they replaced the back end, i thought it was just a phrase... obviously not

at least they didnt hold anetin back when repairing benny. i seen her on sunday and shes looking stunning!

well, Benny is off the road now for a while. he decided to give up the ghost on me last week.
(see Aidan, I told you what would happen if I actually drove it) :mrgreen:

plans are for a 8v cylinder head with some other fancy gubbins. watch this space :wink:

Ok, decided to bike the bullet and go for the 8v BMW K100 cylinder head conversion.

Heres my very sick clubman arriving at Pauls one sunday afternoon...

Wee update from Paul...

Engine blocked Emerged from my chemical bath today looking nice an clean and new I then set about machining conversion's for the BMW head
It went from this:

I than set about converting the cylinder head which went from

both the block and cylinder head are now gone off to Martin Tracy in Enfield, to have the surface of the block skimmed and the block re-board to 73.5mm.
The cylinder head will get a light skim as well.

i know, Paul has broken his back working on the engine for the past while,
