Just got the October issue of Irish Vintage Scene with a a total of 6 Minis on the front cover!!!!!!!!!
Well worth buying with stories on the Cooper S and Moke of club members Mike Dennehy (Dublin) and Martin Murray (Limerick).

Ah Billy i see you have taken the political stance on the matter after all the 'Paul Glennons van' and 'Daddy Mick Glennons Van' argument......Billy wrote:Just got the October issue of Irish Vintage Scene with a a total of 6 Minis on the front cover!!!!!!!!!

Young Paul Hasn't tried to steal the Blue Clubby but i guess the only one who would have a hope of taking on that car is Shell fuels......

Do you subscribe Billy or how did you get it so quick? I just had a scout around the local shops here and no one has it yet.
Maybe its just New Ross - i normally buy Evo Magazine every months also, and a buddy of mine from up North gets it 5 days before it arrives down here

I subscribe. You usually get it a few days before it's in the shops and it works out cheaper as well.

Great write up on Chris Courtneys pick up as well and the guy with the 1380 with the removable front was also a club member in the past and I remember seeing his fathers car which is a kerry reg Austin Seven at the Inis Shannon steam rally back in 1998,still have the pictures of it too.

Got my copy at the ploughing show on the Irish vintage scence stand.... the guy there had some funny school stories about Mr Billy Mulqueen.........
About the only stand i got time to go to was working a lot of day, working the big silver WRC Simulator over by gate 4 (by garda headqurters) There were 3 simulators there and 2 were us... The yellow one beside the big screen and the wrc by the gate.... the wrc one rocks. On its way to spain now for catalonian rally.....
