1978 clubman restoration
I'm in the middle of restoring a clubman so i said i'd put up a few pics
I got the car in england and this is what i looked like a few months ago.
pulled out the engine
Then stripped it down to shell and rolled it on its side
The boot floor was really rusty so had to cut out the rust and going to weld in new floor
new floor.
stripped engine and cleaned and painted it while waiting to do the shell
spent a load of money on wheels and tyres
boxes of new parts
Its gonna take a while to finish but i'll keep updating the pics..

Comming along nicly, but I have to say I never like to see a mini welded on its side, how do you know the shell isn't slightly twisted? I've driven behind a lot of minis that crab. What bodykit is it?

Getting on well so far, i removed the front spoiler and all the whhel arches as they were moulded on with filler and fibre glass, have the engine running and driving just getting ready for repaint,

Re: 1978 clubman restoration
I know it looked terrible with the wheel arches and spoiler moulded in, should look nice with the group 2 arches on.
