Just wondering if anyone in the club had considered a page on Facebook for the IMOC ?
Recently I found myself chatting with two individuals on Facebook who have mini's. I directed them to the irishminis.ie/forum
We could easily set one up & update it every so often with event details pictures etc, etc
Just another avenue that could be explored with a view to gathering a wider audience & possible new members !

Re: Social Websites
We set up a bebo and facebook site with another web-site which i am admin on, and to be honest, it didn't really drive much more numbers our way, as most people you were inviting to be friends on it were registered on the site in the first place anyway.
From someone who hasn't been involved in the Mini scene for a number of years, i have seen this site mentioned in a lot of magazines lately due to the Mini's birthday and other events which you have taken part in, and it is from these magazine mentions that i have returned
Meets and events i think are the best publicty to get a site known, but you need someone with a camera and notebook on the day to take pics and do up a quick report to send into the magazines. Irish Vintage would be a good one i reckon, as that is where i saw you
