Replaced the front brake cylinders and pads on my '68 Estate (That's the one my wife bought me when I was up in Malin on the MTM).

Went to change the top stabiliser bushings on the RSP.First I had to drill off the head of the bolt on the bulkhead side as it was seized onto the metal bushing and then when I was putting it back together the long bolt broke in the head as I was tightening it.Had to use a 90 degree drill and "easy outs" to get ot out but at least it is all back together. My father in law who is a fitter by trade said that a left hand twist drill bit would be a good item to have as when you are drilling the hole for the "easy out" it may actually get the stud moving out and it is not tightening the stud as you drill. Also took out the windscreen in the van to seal it up properly and refitted it and fitted the seal on the roof vent.

Changed the brake master cylinder on the Cooper. The hardest part was removing the split pin under the pedals. Had to take out the drivers seat to get at it.

Called up to Woody and he sorted out the starter problem ion the Marcos. Turned out the "reconditioned" starter motor that I bought in the UK is a dud
Have a petrol leak to sort now but getting there.
Hope to have it in Rooskey next Sunday.

Removed the fuel tank for the van to stop a petrol leak from the sender gasket.Cut a new gasket for the petrol sender from a sheet of gasket paper, after a liberal coating of gasket sealer, put it all back together and no more petrol leaking from the tank.
