I had a heap Of problams with this Jason, I found a company In galway who are a broker they got me a quote I was 21 and had my licence since I was 18 teen I think on a 1972 Mk3 auto my quote was 1100 euros for the year which I took as no one elce would even Quote me.

I am now 24 and have a clasic policy with Carrol Nash they normaly only give clasic policys to over 25 but seen as I have my licence over 5 years they gave me the quote.

Good look I hope you do better than I did.

Brittons have been mentioned as being very good to deal with before, well worth a try.

Do remember however that young male drivers are the major money earners for the motor insurance companies. :(

A couple years back i was 19 and insured in an 89 austin mini on my own policy with AXA for 1400 which wasn't too bad.
