)so after a phone call we went for a spin up the north and came back with the following..
its a 1990 racing green (same as mine
) apparantly it was put away and garaged for 5 years at one stage, body work (footwells, rear bins, under carpet, a-panel, door skins etc) look very tidy indeed which matches with the mileage on the clock 34500 miles.
however, (some may argue, i deffo will!!) the engine was swapped somewhere along the way and theres now a 1.3 metro engine with wat looks like a stage 1 kit inside the engine bay
the car was recently resprayed but wasnt a great job.. she's out a bit of money at the min but , simon : she'l be on to you at some stage in the near future
besides the spray job, the car needs a good tidy and needs the knuckle joint or bump stop replaced (its called either one) as they have dropped over the years and the car is sitting as low as that it will go.....
il get her to sign up onto the site so you shall be hearing/seeing more from her....
