MONDELLO PHOTO SHOOT THIS THURSDAY - MINIS WANTED

Can anyone in Dublin help out with this photo shoot for Mondello next Thursday?


Hi Billy,

A launch and photo opportunity for Classic Car Live is being organised next Thursday at 12:00 in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. The theme of the launch is the Mini and we would like to have at least two Mini's present at the launch. We also be using two models dressed in mini dresses or skirts echoing the heyday of the mini in the sixties.

The launch takes place at 12:00 and we would like the cars to attend from 10:30 till about 13:30.

We would be grateful for your help with sourcing cars for this, if any of your members can assist they can call me on 087-2931596.

Might I suggest that Joe, Tony , Eric, Paul and Jocelyn turn up.

Joe - Best advertisment for the club and Mini 50th on the road (Great looking on the MTM).
Tony - Cleanest Mini on MTM
Paul/ Jocelyn - The Pickup / Estate would display a non Saloon.
Eric - Wax Homer.

As I mentioned , I'm just around the corner if they need another Mini.

Just spoke to Fergus at Mondello. He wants a total of 4 Minis from us and there's a fifth being brought along by a reporter who works for the Sunday World. In case someone can't make it at the last minute, I would suggest that everyone turns up to be on the safe side. As Fergus' original e-mail states, you need to be there by 10.30 in Kilmainham.

Paul, Fergus says you are bringing 2 Minis, is that correct?
Joe, tried ringing you but no answer. Can you make it? Your Mini is ideal.

B7, if you can leave the car there and the keys in it, bring it over.

Was out all day today at a wedding and as I didn't hear anymore about this gig, I presumed my motor wasn't required so its been a mad dash to switch our cars about in the drive now so that I can take Coonos Cab into work with me to have it for when I finish and head off to Kilmainham.

Such hectic lives our celebratory cars lead!!!!!!!!

Just back from the Photoshoot. The sun shone and Coonas (the boy in the PINK shirt) got his cab into the middle again. Miss Ireland draped all over it. He'll post his photos.
