I think you will find that like many of the Minis in the States, they seem to have adopted log books which massage their age a bit.

I saw no less than 5 Minis in the space of 40 minutes this afternoon between Stillorgan and Bray!
-A silver 92(reg) being towed by a Range rover at Whites Cross
-A red 81 reg at Cornelscourt
-A green Cooper 96 reg at Leopardstown
-A metallic torquoise (92 reg??) at Shankhill
- A dirty looking green (didnt catch reg) in Bray.

Spent a very enjoyable hour this evening visiting Martin Murray in Croom, Co. Limerick who has an absolutely gorgeous early Moke. It has many unusual features. First of all, it's a local car with an SIU Limerick reg. It's also grey from new and was that way from new. Apparently according to the Moke Club, it's the only original dove grey Moke left. I have a photo of it somewhere and I'll post it when I find it.

Martin does crash repairs but when I called in tonight there were several 60's & 70's Fords and VWs in for restoration and he will consider work on Minis. Martin can be contacted at 061-397424
