hello all. this is my brothers mini he picked it up last week. he got the mini bug from driving mine and had to get one
its a 93 and was orignally blue but got a respray in this maroon colour.
he plans on doing the mtm in it and then strip it down for a rebuild
will keep ye posted as things progress.

we got the car off a guy outside granard he brings in bikes and quads from england and sells them here. he brought in this mini for his cousin and then his cousin got killed on a bike so it was lying around his house so he advertised it on gumtree. and my bro had a honda nsr 125 that he could not sell so we did a part exchange . its was a good deal and everybody happy

he will tackle into it once he gets some time and his garage free.
he is respraying john c mini from the western region at the mo i will put up some pics of it later. with the frost he is very busy with lot of tips and bangs.

hello all
well my brother started striping his mini this day last week. he plans on having it ready for mtm keep the preasure on him. he will know how far on he will be in a couple of weeks before he sends off his entry form. he is after deseaming it and welding up all the rusty bits. he is not lead filling it he is using a mixture of fibre glass and filler which is strong stuff and not a chance of it cracking. he used the same stuff on my own mini. here is a couple of pics i will keep ya posted as he makes progress

their is alot of work into that fecking kit but when its on it should look the part
he plans on spraying the roof white and then spraying the centre of the wheels
white too but leaving the chrome rim standard. how are u getting on with your project

he says he fancys a change.i do tell him strip it and sell all and stick the engine in the mini. their would be some kick with 220 bhp in the mini .i must take some pics of his mini and put them up its all deseamed and the kit all fitted and ready for priming and ready for spraying the inside.the pressure is on to have it ready for the mtm he only has twelve more days ta send off his entry form.

yea im not getting on to bad need too wings and a pront panal now and im meant to be picking up another mini this week another project if i get a job will be a k20type r defo can buy the subframe kit for it now and i can get a crashed dc5 for engine and loom tats my dreams anyway might happen yet

need to get one of the rear arches filled up a bit too where i welded in the repair panel as it is slightly warped...

well lads how ye all getting on was not on the forum in a while busy with work and my little six month old daughter.sorry did not meet ya the weekend cian sure if your around carrick again give me a shout my num is 0876109257. well stephen any fun hows that project of yours coming on. my brother used some mixture of fibreglass and filler its some rare tack when it hardens. i will ask him excatly what he uses tomorrow. he is working on his project all weekend fri sat sun mon.its hard to c him having it ready for the mtm this is the way it looks today. he has it primed with black primer and he has the inside primed and a finish coat of black put on it he is going with a white roof and mirrors and the centre of the 13 inch wheels white.

so after a long weekend for my brother he got his mini sprayed
he still has a days work putting all back together.
and also has to spray the roof and wheels. this is the way it looks now.

thanks for the comments lads she turned out well allright.
he used pro spray water based paint straight black with three different types of pearl
in it. u should c the car when the sun shines on it. we are just waitng on all new rubbers for the windows should be here this week
