Hello,

Mini floors could do you some care, what are the best products to use on them to seal them and where can I get them?

How do you know if they should be replaced or not??

i also need some rubber seals for the engine bay are these just generic ones or should i get ones specific for minis?

Thanks

Is it just surface rust or are the floors holed ?

Once you clean the crud up, you can clean any rusty metal with a wire brush, you can use a seam sealer where needed, then clean and cover with a coat of zinc primer, finish with the colour of your choice.

You can use any suitably sized grommet for the engine bay, I would suspect that OE ones are not available, but you could try Somerford Mini, they do a lot of restorations and if anyone has them then they would.

No holes that I have spotted yet anyway!! It all appears to be surface rust so far. thanks again for the advice, much appreciated.

Any particular brand you would recommend using on the floors??
