wipers & heater problem

hi guys

driving to work the other day and the wipers stopped working and then a few mins later the heater stopped. have been driving with it since can work without wipers but with this cold weather im wrapped like a human onion to keep warm in this cold weather, have checked the fuse box and connections and they seem to be ok!

any suggestions

sounds like fuse box.terminal with light green wires

would it make sence to change to a modern spade type fuse box

Standard fuse box usually works fine once fuses are good and tight in clips and terminals are clean.
Sometimes the spade connectors going in at the sides get loose and need a pinch with pliers.
There are 2 other fuses in the loom under the bonnet, in where the washer bottle is near the wiper motor.

Just clean and tighten up everything.

got wipers and heater going this evening loose connection on wires under the steering column normality is restored for now

I replaced mine and relocated it inside the passenger compartment. 8)

Ok. Let's try again.

In the photo, you can see the flasher unit to the left of the fuse box. That was left temporarily hanging until I sourced a proper clip and relocated it.
I cut a piece of aluminium and pop-riveted it in place to mount the fuse box and terminal strip. I'll probably relocate it when I cover the area with a dashboard so it is easy to access.
