Re: New Years lunch and table quiz in the Eastern Region
The quiz is all set. Yours truly has set the questions.
Expect a few Mini-related questions, topical stuff, music etc, and a few sneaky ones.
We have loads of spot prizes so it should be a bit of fun for Sunday afternoon.
See you there,
Billy

Post-85 music? I'll have to think about that.
Tables of 4 and marks will be deducted for any blatant cogging!!!

Re: New Years lunch and table quiz in the Eastern Region
Hope to see as many of ye tomorrow as possible.Billy tells me that he has already been contacted by some of the more competitive members for a look at the question sheet but that the brown envelopes, although greatly received, will make no difference and Brinks will deliver the sheets directly to the Clonsilla Inn to eliminate any insider knowledge.

Re: New Years lunch and table quiz in the Eastern Region
My voice has dropped an octave after yesterday. Ye're a rowdy bunch.
There was a brilliant turnout of 11 tables at the quiz which meant over 40 people took part. No doubt there could have been more but the Western Region lads were busy in Longford at the autotest. I was very impressed that most of ye knew all 4 Teletubbies and Tina Turner's real name.
Thanks to the Clonsilla Inn for the great grub and the use of the upstairs function room, KMG for organising the prizes and the raffle, Daisy for collecting the sheets, Neil and Kieran for selling the tickets, and all the smallies who drew the raffle tickets.
And the winners were ...................Team Twinjocks Spi of Paul, Julie, Milton, and Therese. They were closely followed (but not close enough) by Team MCOI who came second best but shur that was no surprise. The MCOI team took fierce slagging but it was all good fun.
Thanks to all that supported the quiz.

Re: New Years lunch and table quiz in the Eastern Region
A big thank you to everyone who attended the lunch and table quiz yesterday. It was great to see so many members new and old enjoying themselves although we may have to get a new quiz master as there have been a few questions raised about the questions. .And fair play to the lads for getting Steven home,no need for the AA when your in the IMOC.
Here are the second best team.
