Mini Documentry, your chance to be a film star

Post by The Marcos Graveyard »

Here is an email I got this evening, it might be of interest to some of the forums members.

Hi MINI Lovers from Ireland,

My name is Stephanie Guttenberger, I am a production assistant from Munich/Germany in
pre-production of a documentary short for MINI`s 50th birthday next year.

I am looking for all kind of MINI enthusiasts, lovers, freaks and
interesting characters who could imagine to be part of the project, as the
film is mainly gonna be based on filmed portraits of MINI drivers from all
round the world. Doesn`t matter if you`re a collector, conservator, tuner,
customizer, or just a driver who loves his/her car.
The goal is to show that MINI is a one of a kind phenomenon in the car
world, both technical and as a lifestyle itself, which cuts through all
cultures and languages.

The project is commisioned and heavily supported by the MINI group and will
premiere on all big occasions (corporate and non-corporate) and happenings
due to MINI`s 50th birthday next year.

Please find attached the question sheet for all people, they would be a part in the documentary.
Please feel free and send this email and the sheet to all people from your MINI club or MINI friends,
they could be interested in our project.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to get in contact
with me anytime

Looking forward to hear from you!

With best regards,

Stephanie Guttenberger

If anyone is interested in this please pm me and I will forward on the questionnaire and contact details

TMG

TMG,

Put me down for this and if the crew need a base to film some of our cars, I can accommodate them here at the B&B. They can even sleep in the garage with the Minis if they want!!!

interesting.... that word "corporate" sticks out a bit though... i'm thinking this could be a gee-up for the lads in munich. A coincidence that stephanie's production company is based there and she has worked on other "corporate" MINI projects....?

TMG,

I'd also let Stephanie know of our contacts with several German Mini clubs.
