is there a secret trick...

Post by just_st3v3n »

hi guys,

i replaced my rear subframe as it cracked and got new braided brake pipes got everything sorted except for being able to take the stupid rubber cone of the shock absorber strut thingy......
iv tried hitting it at the corners so it might loosen slowly and pop off... put it in a vice and hit it.... hit it off a piece off wood....
is there an easier way to get these off??

thnks

Clean up the rust and remember to put some copper grease on the mating surfaces before you reassemble.
