Hey folks,
Based in Limerick. Car is belonging to my good lady.
Currently car is fairly stock except for spurious bonnet as needed one for the NCT on friday. But we plan pon getting a proper mini one again when time and money allow.
Plan is to restore it as close as poss to standard maybe upgrade the dash etc.

Cheers all for the welcome.
It has an experience so far with our mini. have learnt a lot in a short period of time!!
the way we are looking at it is this is a long term project to get back to top nick. getting it roadworthy with help from friends and Con Ward.
Thought we had a good car to start with nothing terminal eyes have been opened since.

Re: Morning All
Thats Mini's for ya, full of surprises.
Re: Morning All
We have got our mini through the NCT.
Third time lucky! One test and two retests!
only had to change: the bonnet, head gasket, new brake cylinder on rear passenger brake,
and reseal the exhaust, adjust the front driver ball joint(down to last shim), front passenger track rod end. sort the seat belts.
The examiner on last test then told me I had a good car as he has seen minis with three sheets of faults.
I know I have a good car now it is all almost new!!!
