I got a lift from Mondello for 4 miles on the open road in Denis Walsh's 1946 Ford special. It's the cover car on this month's Irish Vintage Scene. Denis has owned it for the last 44 years and brought it up from Cork on my trailer.
This thing makes a Moke feel luxorious but it's brilliant craic:

Brilliant photos. I don't think leaning in to the corners will make much difference in a lot of those cars!!!!!

The vintage stuff was like a Paddy,s day parade only a little bit better organised and a good bit slower.

A great start to what I hope will be an annual event, lovely cars on show and great racing, Very impressed with the mini racing and great to be able to get up close to the minis in the pits.
