scary moment

Post by Tim Urry »

I was driving home last night when the bonnet came flying off and went over me and almost hit the person behind me. I have those quick release pins and the normal catch so when the catch went it just ripped the pins out of the plate they were mounted to. the bonnet is recked so i am using the green one off my brothers crashed car.

Tough one Tim. Seems to be a common thing at the mo though, Podge had the same problem on the way to Mondello on Sunday :(

Happened to me last year on the way to letterfrack, it blocked the whole windscreen so i could nt see anythin. Had to take it off completly and put it on the back seat. I did well to explain it to the guard that pulled me over. You d be surprised if it was any other make of car :D
