I bet it was just a €1 coin in the ashtray that was causing the rattle in the first place.
A fully carbon fiber Mini Marcos shell weighs just 7.25kg.

and the coin.. . thanks Neil! (amazing how much current you can get though a euro!)
terry (my m8 from Americay) and i will be *aiming* to head off friday @ 10:30 , thru Dublin out the N2 with stops in Monaghan and Derry.
Aiming to stay off the motorways as much as possible. happy to convoy if anyone wants.

We'll be leaving sunny Wales around 11.00pm Tomorrow which will have us in Rosslare for 6.30-7am on the friday.
Not decided on a route yet probably going to avoid the main roads as much as possible if anyone wants to meet on the way or can suggest a good route up let us know, we are thinking we should be in Malin early afternoon ish.

hard to suggest anything other than the shortest, direct route from rosslare up the N11 to dublin, then out the N2 to Monaghan then on to Derry.
thats a cool 400k plus
