IMM Ferries - booking the meal

Post by zakgt »

Folks,

P&O where on to me asking if we wanted to pre-book a meal on the ferry. Considering we need to be on the boat before 19.30 , it is usually a good way to pass an hour or two.

Pre-booking avoids queuing for possibly a table for 12 or so.

All interested please add your name:

How much is the meal? From previous trips , the sit-down meal is more expensive than the Cafe meal, but not by much when you get three courses and tea/coffee. It sets you up for a few pints afterwards to help you sleep through the Show in the lounge.
Which sitting are you booking?

Don't forget myself and KMG are bringing sprogs with us. Ask if they do nuggets and chips etc.

Something tells me that if we're on the road at 6am that morning, we won't be eating that late. Oh sorry, I forgot that ye lads have to be up early every morning to dodge the rush hour traffic!

lads,

Just checked the meal is €33 and a pre booked only saves 10%. For the sake of €3 it could be better keeping our options open ?

Thoughts.

If the ferry doesn't leave till 9pm and we're going for the spuds sometime after that, personally I think it's a bit late in the day for a feed, especially with the sprogs. We'll have been on the road since 6am that morning so I think I'll be hungry earlier in the evening i.e. before we get on the ferry.

That's my tuppenceworth
